The Liv Well Method Story

Hi, I’m Olivia! Let me tell you a little more about who I am & how I got here.The Liv Well Method was inspired after the lifestyle that changed my own life; a diet of more balance, movement of primarily pilates, & the personal pursuit to become my best self.

My health journey started in my early twenties after undergoing intensive, professional treatment for eating disorders I struggled with for half of my life. This life experience was the catalyst that positively altered the way I viewed food & my body. But truthfully, the real journey began years later when my body was left with severe gut dysfunction and imbalanced hormones as a result of my eating disorder, poor diet, antibiotics/medication, & stress. My body and mind began to simply break down to the point where it was over taking my every day life and I did not want to leave my house. I sought the medical help of several different doctors but it was the same approach with each; being told I was fundamentally “healthy”, try birth control for my hormones/absent period, and here is a prescription for an anti-depressant to help the anxiety. Both of which were options I had tried in the past that never solved my root problems, therefore I wanted to try a new route.

Long story short, I knew something was wrong and I was right (always trust your gut!). It was at this time that I became my own health advocate and I started researching functional medicine doctors and holistic health practitioners. With the help of some amazing integrative health coaches I changed my diet, switched my exercise from HIIT to pilates, and I experienced a healing like no other. My life and body did a complete 180, and not to mention all of the previously mentioned health ailments… gone! No birth control, no prescriptions, no antibiotics. I realized food is medicine, I can heal through food, and I made it a lifestyle. My journey has changed my life so much so that I knew it was my passion and my purpose to help others transform their health, too. I said good bye to my job in corporate America, decided to pursue my dream, learn everything I can, and I have not looked back.

Alas, The Liv Well Method was born and it focuses on you as the whole person; the mind, the body, the soul. This is the key that is missing from our main stream healthcare system; they simply treat the symptoms and not at the root causes. Whether you are working with me as a pilates or a health client I am always observing your body as a whole system. Together, I can help you transform your lifestyle from your diet, movement, and your mind to be a healthier version of yourself. I will work with you based on your concerns, goals, current lifestyle, and be there to support you to that next level of health (and the level after that).
